Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Welder to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding and fabricating various materials, with a strong emphasis on stainless steel. Key Responsibilities: Welding & Fabrication: Utilize TIG (Gtaw) welding techniques to work with stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and other materials. Demonstrate expertise in stainless steel fabrication and pass AWS weld tests for certification. Project Completion: Review work orders, gather materials, and use appropriate methods to complete sheet metal projects. Create layouts and fabricate components by cutting, forming, and fastening pieces. Quality Assurance: Inspect, measure, and test components to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. Design & Setup: Design and fabricate equipment and parts to meet specific sanitary requirements. Create and use holding jigs to aid in fabrication. Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures and industry practices. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Skills & Qualifications: Expertise in Welding: Proficiency in welding various materials and processes (TIG), with a strong focus on stainless steel. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of metal properties and safety precautions related to occupational hazards. Equipment Proficiency: Skilled in using power and hand tools safely and effectively. Detail-Oriented: Ability to review and interpret work orders, sketches, and measurements accurately. Inventory Management: Maintain routine inventory of supplies and order fresh stock as needed. Experience: TIG welding: 7 years (Required) Sanitary pipe: 1 year (Preferred) Press brake: 3 years (Required) Blueprint reading: 7 years (Required)
